Catholic Formation Academy Civil Service

Organisation & Structure

The Catholic Formation Academy Civil Service is the charitable and community service division of Catholic Formation Academy, providing members with opportunities to put their faith into action through organised service, outreach, and community initiatives. Built upon the principles of faith, charity, leadership, and service, the Civil Service seeks to support both local communities and the wider mission of the Academy through practical works that reflect Christian values.

Activities may include supporting food banks, soup kitchens, charitable collections, community projects, parish initiatives, pilgrimages, events, and other opportunities to assist those in need.

Participation is open to those whose values are aligned with the teachings and principles of the Catholic faith and who wish to contribute their time, skills, and efforts in service to others.

Our organisation benefits from the experience of founding members from military, emergency service, and public sector backgrounds, fostering a culture of service and community engagement.

Who can serve?

Participation in the Online Academy does not require you to be Catholic. We only ask for respectful engagement with the Catholic faith, its teachings, and fellow members. All are welcome to contribute.

 

Civil Service members are asked to make a charitable contribution of £5 A month towards the work of Catholic Formation Academy.

Contributions help support charitable projects, community initiatives, administration, website costs, training, transport, equipment, and uniforms where required. Every contribution helps strengthen our ability to serve others and expand our mission of Faith, Formation, and Service.
