Growing in faith, formation, and service

Catholic Formation Academy exists to help people grow in faith, formation, and service. We welcome those exploring Catholicism, catechumens, newly baptised Catholics, and practising Catholics seeking deeper formation and community. Members can access learning resources, discussions, events, pilgrimages, retreats, and fellowship opportunities. We are also developing organised charitable and community service initiatives for those who feel called to put their faith into action through volunteering, outreach, and works of service.

From a shared journey to a thriving academy

Catholic Formation Academy was founded through the shared journey of a small group of individuals who came to the Catholic faith around the same time. As we progressed through our own formation, we recognised the growing number of people exploring and entering the Catholic Church, many of whom were seeking greater support, community, and opportunities for continued growth beyond their initial formation.

Inspired by this experience, Catholic Formation Academy was established to provide a welcoming environment where people can learn, connect, serve, and deepen their faith alongside others on a similar journey. What began as a small initiative is intended to grow into a wider network dedicated to Faith, Formation, and Service, supporting Catholics at every stage of their spiritual lives.

Catholic Formation Academy was inspired by the growing need for support, guidance, and community for those exploring or entering the Catholic faith. Many people desire more than a weekly RCIA programme and benefit from ongoing formation, friendship, and opportunities to live their faith in a meaningful way. We believe faith should be both learned and lived, combining spiritual growth with practical service through charity, volunteering, community initiatives, and works that reflect the teachings of Christ.
